In the New Testament, the word “brethren” describes a community of men and women who chose another way of living: the way of Jesus. The Church of the Brethren, begun three centuries ago in Germany, still draws people who want to continue Jesus’ work of faithfulness and loving service.
Church World Service was born in the wake of the devastation of World War II. Seventeen Christian denominations came together “to do in partnership what none of us could hope to do as well alone.”
Love INC (Love in the Name of Christ) of Lancaster County is a network of over 100 Lancaster County churches from 24 different denominations. The ministry of Love INC helps “friends from church” build relationships that B.L.E.S.S. neighbors in need.
We are a faith-based, non-profit social service organization located in the heart of Quarryville. We were founded in 2012 by the Solanco Pastors Fellowship to serve and advocate for under-resourced individuals in the southern end of Lancaster County. Solanco Neighborhood Ministries is primarily funded through generous donations from individuals, churches, local businesses, and organizations.
